Battle Mountain Solar Project is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 640 acres.
The project generates 296,655MWh of electricity. The project cost is $120m.
Development Status
The project got commissioned in May 2021.
Power Purchase Agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to Sierra Pacific Power under a power purchase agreement. The power is sold at the rate of $0.026kWh for a period of 25 years, starting from 2021. The contracted capacity is 101MW.
Contractors Involved
LONGi Green Energy Technology was selected as the supplier of the PV modules for the project. The company provided 375,000 modules each with 400W of nameplate capacity.
The inverters were procured from SMA Solar Technology for the project.
The project is utilising single axis trackers supplied by NEXTracker.
