The project is being developed by BayWa and is currently owned by Commerz Real Kapitalverwaltungsgesellschaft.

BayWa Tordesillas Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project.

The project is expected to generate 74,000MWh electricity and supply enough clean energy to power 18,800 households. The project is expected to offset 19t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is expected to be around $43.431m.

Development Status

The project construction is expected to commence from 2023. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by 2024.

Power Purchase Agreement

The power generated from the project will be sold to Statkraft under a power purchase agreement for a period of 10 years. The offtake capacity is expected to be 41.7MW.
