The project is being developed and currently owned by Blue Elephant Energy and Green Future. The owners have 50% stake in the project respectively.

BEE Sicily Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project.

The project is expected to supply enough clean energy to power 78,000 households, to offset 87,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is expected to be around $93.772m.
