The power generated from the project is sold to Modesto-Santa Clara-Redding Public Power Agency under a power purchase agreement for a period of 25 years. The contracted capacity is 250MW.

Contractors Involved

Big Horn (Big Horn 1) is equipped with GE Renewable Energy 1.5-77 turbines. The phase consists of 133 turbines with 1.5MW nameplate capacity.

Big Horn (Big Horn 2) is equipped with Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy G87-2.0 MW turbines. The phase consists of 25 turbines with 2MW nameplate capacity.

SM Andersen and Vestas UpWind Solutions were contracted to render operations & maintenance services for the project.
