Description
The project was developed by Lagan Specialist Contracting Group and SSE Renewables Holdings (UK). The project is currently owned by SSE Renewables Holdings (UK).
The project supplies enough clean energy to power 30,000 households, offsetting 120,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $138.384m.

Power Purchase Agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to Airtricity Energy Supply under a power purchase agreement.
Contractors Involved
GE Renewable Energy was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company provided 32 turbines, each with 1.5MW nameplate capacity.
