Bioenergetica Aroeira 2 Biomass Power Project is a 30MW biopower project. It is planned in Minas Gerais, Brazil. The project is currently in permitting stage. It will be developed in multiple phases. Description
The process of combustion will be adopted in this project to release the stored energy from the feed. Bagasse which is a kind of agricultural by-product will be used as a feedstock to power the project.
The project consists of 1 turbines each with 20 MW nameplate capacity and 1 turbines each with 10 MW nameplate capacity respectively.
Development Status
The project construction is expected to commence from 2022. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by January 2023.
