Description
The project is currently owned by ENGIE Cofely H2 France with a stake of 100%.
The project generates 89GWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 13,000 households, offsetting 86,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $104.072m.
The process of combustion has been adopted in this combined heat and power (CHP) project to release the stored energy from the feed. Agricultural by-product and wood by-product are used as a feedstock to power the project.
Development Status
The project got commissioned in 2016.
Contractors Involved
Aalborg Energie Technik supplied steam boiler for the project. The temperature witnessed inside the boiler is around 525°C. The steam is pressurized inside the boiler at 120bar.
