Description
The project is developed and owned by BlaikenVind.
The project generates 714GWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 200,000 households, offsetting 690,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $414.89m.
The Blaiken (Blaiken I), has 100m high towers.
The Blaiken (Blaiken II), has 100m high towers.
The Blaiken (Blaiken III), has 90m high towers.
The Blaiken (Blaiken IV), has 90m high towers.
Development Status
The project is currently active. The project got commissioned in February 2013.
Power Purchase Agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to Fortum under a power purchase agreement.
Contractors Involved
Blaiken (Blaiken I) is equipped with Nordex N100 (2.5 MW) turbines. The phase consists of 30 turbines with 2.5MW nameplate capacity.
Blaiken (Blaiken II) is equipped with Nordex N100 (2.5 MW) turbines. The phase consists of 30 turbines with 2.5MW nameplate capacity.
Blaiken (Blaiken III) is equipped with Dongfang Electric turbines. The phase consists of 30 turbines, each with 2.5MW nameplate capacity.
Blaiken (Blaiken IV) is equipped with Dongfang Electric turbines. The phase consists of 9 turbines, each with 2.5MW nameplate capacity.
Dongfang Electric is the O&M contractor for the Blaiken (Blaiken IV).
