The Blanket Gold Mine Solar PV Park – Battery Energy Storage System is a 5,000kW energy storage project located in Blanket, Matabeleland South, Zimbabwe.

Caledonia Mining Corporation plc is seeking proposals for a 19.65 MW solar power plant and energy storage system it wants to build at its Blanket gold mine near Gwanda. An ESS with an estimated storage capacity range of 0–5 MVA shall be designed and installed near the existing diesel generator bank at Blanket Mine.
