The project is developed and owned by Aksa Goynuk Enerji Uretim.
It is a Steam Turbine power plant. The fuel is procured from Bolu-Goynuk lignite field.
The project generated 2,000,000MWh of electricity. The project cost is $390m.

Contractors Involved
Doosan Skoda Power was selected as the turbine supplier for the Coal fired project. The company provided 2 steam turbines, each with 135MW nameplate capacity.
Doosan Skoda Power supplied electric generator for the project.
SES Tlmace supplied steam boiler for the project.
