The project is being developed and currently owned by Infinergy Pacific.
Bookaar Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is planned over 558 hectares.
The project is expected to generate 420GWh electricity and supply enough clean energy to power 92,000 households. The project is expected to offset 519,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is expected to be around $218m.
The solar power project consists of 700,000 modules.
