The project was developed by EnBW Energie Baden-Wurttemberg and PNE. EnBW Energie Baden-Wurttemberg and Neckar-Elektrizitatsverband are currently owning the project.

The Buchholz I (Buchholz I Phase II), has 108m high towers.

The Buchholz I (Buchholz I Phase III), has 137m high towers.

Contractors Involved

Buchholz I (Buchholz I Phase I) is equipped with Vestas Wind Systems V90-2.0 MW turbines. The phase consists of 18 turbines with 2MW nameplate capacity.

Buchholz I (Buchholz I Phase II) is equipped with Enercon E-82 E2 / 2,000 kW turbines. The phase consists of 2 turbines with 2MW nameplate capacity.

Buchholz I (Buchholz I Phase III) is equipped with Vestas Wind Systems V126-3.3 MW turbines. The phase consists of 4 turbines with 3.3MW nameplate capacity.

PNE is the O&M contractor for the Buchholz I (Buchholz I Phase I) for a period of 10 years.
