Description
The project is currently owned by SC Electrocentrale Bucuresti with a stake of 100%.
It is a Steam Turbine with Cogen power plant. The power plant run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant is fuel oil. In case of shortage of fuel oil the plant can also run on Natural Gas.

The project got commissioned in 1975.
Contractors Involved
Doosan Skoda Power was selected as the turbine supplier for thermal power project. The project consists of 2 units of VT–125/135–141 turbines, each with 125MW nameplate capacity.
SES Tlmace supplied steam boiler for the project.
