The project was developed by Lanco Power and is currently owned by Greenko Energies with a stake of 100%.
Budhil is a run-of-river project. The net head of the project is 237.5m. The project generated 313.33 GWh of electricity. The project cost is $107.1m.

Power Purchase Agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to PTC India under a power purchase agreement.
Contractors Involved
DEC Dongfang Electric Machinery was selected as the turbine supplier for the hydro power project. The company provided 2 units of francis turbines, each with 35MW nameplate capacity.
DEC Dongfang Electric Machinery supplied 2 electric generators for the project.
