BXC Onyandze Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 40.5 hectares.
The project generates 25,000MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 20,000 households. The project cost is $30m.
The project got commissioned in November 2015.
Power Purchase Agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to Electricity Company of Ghana under a power purchase agreement with a contracted capacity is 20MW.
BXC Company (Ghana) was selected to render EPC services for the solar PV power project.
GD Solar (Jiangsu) was selected as the supplier of the PV modules for the project. The company installed 40,480 modules at the site.
