Description
The project is currently owned by ProNatura.
The project generates 100GWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 50,000 households. The project cost is $58.595m.
The process of combustion has been adopted in this combined heat and power (CHP) project to release the stored energy from the feed. Household waste which is a kind of municipal solid waste is used as a feedstock to power the project.

Contractors Involved
Astaldi and TM.E. SpA Termomeccanica Ecologia were selected to render EPC services for the biopower project.
