The project was developed by Speedway Solar NC and is currently owned by Duke Energy Renewables with a stake of 100%.
Cabarrus DER Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 185 acres.
The project supplies enough clean energy to power 5,000 households. The project cost is $27.165m.

Contractors Involved
Swinerton Renewable Energy was selected to render EPC services for the solar PV power project.
Jinko Power was selected as the supplier of the PV modules for the project. The company installed 77,000 modules at the site.
