Cacu is a 65MW hydro power project. It is located on Claro river/basin in Goias, Brazil. The project is currently active. It has been developed in single phase. The project construction commenced in 2007 and subsequently entered into commercial operation in 2010.

Engevix Engenharia e Projetos was selected to render EPC services for the hydro power project.

GE Renewable Energy was selected as the turbine supplier for the hydro power project. The company provided 2 units of kaplan turbines, each with 33MW nameplate capacity.

GE Renewable Energy supplied 2 electric generators for the project. The generator capacity is 36 MVA.

STEAG Energy Services do Brasil is the O&M contractor for the hydro power project, commencing from the year 2017.
