Description

The project was developed by CESBE and Gerdau. The project is currently owned by Gerdau Acos Longos with a stake of 100%.

The gross head and net head of the project are 26.9m and 26m respectively. The project cost is $182.055m.

Contractors Involved

Engevix Engenharia e Projetos was selected to render EPC services for the hydro power project.

GE Renewable Energy was selected as the turbine supplier for the hydro power project. The company provided 2 units of kaplan turbines, each with 33MW nameplate capacity.

GE Renewable Energy supplied 2 electric generators for the project. The generator capacity is 36 MVA.

STEAG Energy Services do Brasil is the O&M contractor for the hydro power project, commencing from the year 2017.
