The project is being developed and currently owned by LI Solar Generation.
Calverton Solar Energy Center PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is planned over 198 acres.
The project is expected to supply enough clean energy to power 4,200 households, to offset 20,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is expected to be around $24.686m.
The solar power project consists of 130,000 modules.

Power Purchase Agreement
The power generated from the project will be sold to Long Island Power Authority under a power purchase agreement for a period of 30 years.
