The project was developed by Apex Clean Energy Holdings. TerraForm Power and Apex Clean Energy Holdings are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 99% and 1% respectively.
The project supplies enough clean energy to power 100,000 households. The project cost is $470m.

The project is currently active. The project got commissioned in December 2012.
Power Purchase Agreement
Grand River Dam Authority, Oklahoma Municipal Power Authority and Southwestern Electric Power are the power offtakers from the project.
Contractors Involved
Blattner Energy was selected to render EPC services for the wind power project.
Canadian Hills (Canadian Hills IA) is equipped with Mitsubishi Heavy Industries MWT102/2.4 turbines. The phase consists of 62 turbines with 2.4MW nameplate capacity.
Canadian Hills (Canadian Hills IB) is equipped with Senvion MM92 turbines. The phase consists of 73 turbines with 2.05MW nameplate capacity.
Mitsubishi Heavy Industries and Senvion were contracted to render operations & maintenance services for the project.
