Cangzhou Power Plant is a 650MW coal fired power project. It is located in Hebei, China. The project is currently active. It has been developed in multiple phases. Post completion of construction, the project got commissioned in November 2007.

Description

The project is currently owned by China Resources Power Holdings with a stake of 95%.

It is a Steam Turbine with Cogen power plant that is used for Baseload. The fuel is procured from Shanxi and Inner Mongolia.

The project generated 3,747,299MWh of electricity.

Development Status

The project got commissioned in November 2007.

Power Purchase Agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to North China Power Grid under a power purchase agreement.

Contractors Involved

Dongfang Turbine was selected as the turbine supplier for thermal power project. The project consists of 2 units of C330325/220-16.7/0.35/537/537 turbines, each with 325MW nameplate capacity.

DEC Dongfang Electric Machinery supplied QFSN-330-2-20A electric generator for the Cangzhou Power Plant (Cangzhou Power Plant Unit I).

DEC Dongfang Electric Machinery supplied QFSN-330-2-20A electric generator for the Cangzhou Power Plant (Cangzhou Power Plant Unit II).

Babcock & Wilcox Beijing supplied steam boiler for the Cangzhou Power Plant (Cangzhou Power Plant Unit I).
