The project was developed by ABB and REC Silicon.
Canino Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 95 hectares.
The project generates 37,000MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 14,000 households, offsetting 18,500t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $118.007m.
Development Status
The project got commissioned in April 2011.
Power Purchase Agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to Terna under a power purchase agreement, starting from 2011.
