Description
The project was developed by Engevix Engenharia e Projetos. Companhia Brasileira de Aluminio and China Three Gorges Brasil Energia are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 50.3% and 31% respectively.
The net head of the project is 14.5m.
The hydro power project consists of 1 turbine with 24MW nameplate capacity.

Contractors Involved
GE Renewable Energy was selected as the turbine supplier for the hydro power project. The company provided 2 units of bulb turbines, each with 25MW nameplate capacity.
GE Renewable Energy supplied 2 electric generators for the project. The generator capacity is 28 MVA.
