Description

The project is currently owned by Iberdrola Generacion Espana SAU.

It is a Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) power plant. The power plant run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant is natural gas. In case of shortage of natural gas the plant can also run on Diesel. The fuel is procured from Enagas S.A..

Development Status

The project got commissioned in June 2003.

Actividades de Construccion y Servicios, Cobra Gestion de Infraestructuras, Duro Felguera and GE Power were selected to render EPC services for the gas fired power project.

GE Power was selected as the turbine supplier for the Gas fired project. The Gas fired project consists of 1 steam turbine.

GE Power was selected as the turbine supplier for the Gas fired project. The company provided 1 unit of 9FA gas turbine.

GE Power supplied electric generator for the project.

Doosan Heavy Industries & Construction supplied steam boiler for the project.

Iberdrola Generacion Espana SAU is the O&M contractor for thermal power project.
