Description
The project is currently owned by Elektrik Uretim with a stake of 100%.
It is a Steam Turbine power plant. The power plant run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant is coal. In case of shortage of coal the plant can also run on Fuel Oil.
The project generated 2,004,000MWh of electricity.
Development Status
The project got commissioned in July 1989.
Contractors Involved
kutlutas insaat ve tic.san.ltd was selected to render EPC services for the coal fired power project.
Mitsubishi Power was selected as the turbine supplier for the Coal fired project.
Mitsubishi Power supplied electric generator for the project.
The steam boilers for the coal fired power project have been supplied byMetropolitan Vickers and TE Ganz-Rock Kazan es Eromuvi Berendezesek Rt.
