Description

The project was developed by Midwest Wind Energy and Wisconsin Power and Light. The project is currently owned by Wisconsin Power and Light with a stake of 100%.

The project generates 170,000MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 17,000 households, offsetting 450,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

Wisconsin Power and Light was selected to render engineering procurement construction services for the wind power project.

Vestas Wind Systems was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company provided 41 units of V82-1.65 MW turbines, each with 1.65MW nameplate capacity.

Outland Energy Services and Vestas Wind Systems were contracted to render operations & maintenance services for the project.

The wind power project consists of 79.8m high towers supplied by CS Wind.
