Cerulean Winds Floating Offshore Project is a 3,000MW offshore wind power project. It is planned in North Atlantic Ocean, Scotland, the UK. The project is currently in announced stage. Description

The electricitiy generated from the plant will offset 20,000,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is expected to be around $14,184.6m. The turbines will be mounted on a floating type foundation.

The wind power project consists of 200 turbines.

Development Status

Post completion of the construction, the project is expected to get commissioned in 2024.
