Description

The project is developed and owned by Taiwan Power.

The wind turbines in the project are installed on fixed foundations. An array of jacket foundations feature in the project.

The project generates 360,000MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 90,000 households. The project cost is $800m.

The Tubular Steel towers installed at the project site are 90m high.

Power Purchase Agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Taiwan Power under a power purchase agreement. The power is sold at the rate of $0.191kWh for a period of 20 years. The contracted capacity is 109.2MW.

Contractors Involved

Hitachi was selected to render EPC services for the wind power project.

Hitachi was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company provided 21 units of HTW5.2-127 turbines, each with 5.2MW nameplate capacity.

Hitachi is the O&M contractor for the wind power project. The operation and maintenance contract commenced from 2020, for a period of 5 years.
