The project was developed by First Solar. Southern and Turner Renewable Energy are currently owning the project.
Cimarron Solar Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 364 acres.
The project generates 60,000MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 9,000 households. The project cost is $139.997m.
Development Status
The project got commissioned in November 2010.
Power Purchase Agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to Tri-State Generation and Transmission Association under a power purchase agreement for a period of 25 years from 2010. The contracted capacity is 30MW.
Contractors Involved
First Solar was selected to render EPC services for the solar PV power project.
First Solar was selected as the supplier of the PV modules for the project. The company installed 500,000 modules at the site.
First Solar is the O&M contractor for the solar PV power project.
