Description

The project is being developed by DP Energy Ireland and Iberdrola. These companies also have ownership stakes in the project.

The project is expected to generate 8,760,000MWh electricity and supply enough clean energy to power 938,571 households. The project is expected to offset 2,847,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is expected to be around $4,470.9m. The turbines will be mounted on a floating type foundation.
