The project was developed by Eolica Sierra de Avila and is currently owned by Finerge Gestao de Projectos Energeticos.
The project generates 77,980MWh electricity thereby offsetting 43,303t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

Contractors Involved
Vestas Wind Systems was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company provided 17 units of V90-1.8 MW turbines, each with 1.8MW nameplate capacity.
