Description

The project is developed and owned by Collector Wind Farm. The company has a stake of 100%.

The project generates 528GWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 80,000 households, offsetting 320,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $360m.

The Tubular Steel towers installed at the project site are 91.5m high.

Development Status

The project is currently active. The project construction commenced in 2019 and subsequently entered into commercial operation in February 2021.

Power Purchase Agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Infigen Energy under a power purchase agreement for a period of 10 years. The contracted capacity is 136.08MW.

Contractors Involved

Vestas Australian Wind Technology was selected to render EPC services for the wind power project.

Vestas Wind Systems was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company provided 54 units of V117-4.2 MW turbines, each with 4.2MW nameplate capacity.

Vestas Wind Systems is the O&M contractor for the wind power project for a period of 25 years.
