Description

The project is developed and owned by EDF Renewables.

The project supplies enough clean energy to power 35,000 households, offsetting 177,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $250m.

Power Purchase Agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to National Grid under a power purchase agreement. The power is sold at the rate of $0.028kWh for a period of 15 years.

Contractors Involved

Vestas Wind Systems was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company provided 40 units of V110-2.0 MW turbines, each with 2MW nameplate capacity.

Vestas Wind Systems is the O&M contractor for the wind power project for a period of 10 years.
