Copey – Cuestecitas Line is a 500kV overhead line with a length of 275km from Copey, Cesar, Colombia, to Cuestecitas, La Guajira, Colombia.
The project, which is currently under construction, is expected to be commissioned in 2023.
Description
Copey – Cuestecitas Line is an overhead line that will be operated by Unidad de Planeacion Minero Energetica. The line will carry alternating current (AC) through double circuit cable.
Approximately $9.4m was financed by the authorities to undertake the construction works of the project.
The development of the Copey – Cuestecitas Line project has been approved by the The Energy and Gas Regulatory Commission.
