Courseulles sur Mer Offshore is a 448MW offshore wind power project. It is planned in English Channel, Pays de la Loire, France. The project is currently in financing stage. Description

The project is being developed by Eolien Maritime France and WPD Offshore France. EDF Renewables, Enbridge, Canada Pension Plan Investment Board and WPD Offshore France are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 42.5%, 21.7%, 20.8% and 15% respectively.

The project cost is expected to be around $1,964.07m. The project will be spread over an area of 50km². The turbines will be mounted on fixed monopile foundations.

Development Status

The project construction is expected to commence from 2022. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by 2024.

Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy will be the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company is expected to provide 64 units of SWT-7.0-154 turbines, each with 7MW nameplate capacity.
