Description
The project was developed by AGR Group and Golden Square Energy. The project is currently owned by Equitix.
Cowdown Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 155 acres.
The project generates 39.32GWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 10,000 households, offsetting 17,694t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $58.582m.
Development Status
The project got commissioned in April 2016.
Contractors Involved
Solarcentury Holdings was selected to render EPC services for the solar PV power project.
Canadian Solar was selected as the supplier of the PV modules for the project. The company installed 155,000 modules at the site.
Huawei Technologies supplied its SUN2000-33KTL inverters to the project site.
The mounting systems have been supplied by Schletter for the project.
