Description
The project was developed by Burns & McDonnell, ECCO III Enterprises and Skanska USA. Competitive Power Ventures and Diamond Generating are currently owning the project.
It is a Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) power plant. The power plant run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant is natural gas. In case of shortage of natural gas the plant can also run on Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel.
The project cost is $953.802m.

Burns & McDonnell, ECCO III Enterprises and Skanska USA were selected to render EPC services for the gas fired power project.
Siemens was selected as the turbine supplier for the Gas fired project. The company provided 2 units of SGT6-5000F gas turbines.

Siemens supplied SGen-1000A electric generator for the project.
