Description
The project was developed by EDP Gestao da Producao de Energia and is currently owned by Energias de Portugal.
The hydro reservoir capacity is 110 million cubic meter. The project generated 311 MWh of electricity.

Contractors Involved
GE Renewable Energy was selected as the turbine supplier for the hydro power project. The company provided 3 units of kaplan turbines, each with 39MW nameplate capacity.
GE Renewable Energy supplied 3 electric generators for the project. The generator capacity is 36.1 MVA.
