Description
The project is being developed and currently owned by Crookwell Development.
The project is expected to supply enough clean energy to power 40,000 households, to offset 181,436.948t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is expected to be around $86.046m.
The project will have 95m high towers.
Development Status
The project construction is expected to commence from 2022. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by 2023.
Power Purchase Agreement
The power generated from the project will be sold to Telstra under a power purchase agreement. The offtake capacity is expected to be 46.08MW.
Contractors Involved
Vestas Wind Systems will be the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company is expected to provide 16 units of V126-3.45MW turbines, each with 3.6MW nameplate capacity.
Vestas Wind Systems is expected to perform operations and maintenance for the wind power project for a period of 15 years.
