The project is developed and owned by Ecoren Energy India.

The Danu Wind Park (Danu Wind Park Phase-1), has 80m high towers.

The Danu Wind Park (Danu Wind Park Phase-2), has 80-94m high towers.

Development Status

The project is currently active. The project got commissioned in August 2016.

Power Purchase Agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Southern Power Distribution Company of Andhra Pradesh under a power purchase agreement. The power is sold at the rate of $0.073kWh for a period of 25 years. The contracted capacity is 47.7MW.

Contractors Involved

Danu Wind Park (Danu Wind Park Phase-1) is equipped with GE Renewable Energy 1.6 xle turbines. The phase consists of 14 turbines with 1.6MW nameplate capacity.

Danu Wind Park (Danu Wind Park Phase-2) is equipped with GE Renewable Energy turbines. The phase consists of 11 turbines, each with 2.3MW nameplate capacity.

GE Renewable Energy is the O&M contractor for the wind power project.
