Daydream Solar PV Park is an 180.7MW solar PV power project. It is located in Queensland, Australia. The project is currently active. It has been developed in single phase. Post completion of construction, the project got commissioned in August 2018.

Description

The project was developed by Edify Energy. BlackRock Investment Management (Australia) and Edify Energy are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 90% and 10% respectively.

Daydream Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 430 hectares.

The project generates 398,000MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 55,000 households. The project cost is $369.679m.

The project got commissioned in August 2018.

Power Purchase Agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Origin Energy under a power purchase agreement for a period of 12 years. The contracted capacity is 180.7MW.

Contractors Involved

RCR Tomlinson was selected to render EPC services for the solar PV power project.

First Solar was selected as the supplier of the PV modules for the project. The company installed 1,500,000 modules at the site.

The project is utilising single axis trackers supplied by Array Technologies.

Canadian Solar and RCR Tomlinson were contracted to render operations & maintenance services for the project.
