Dayingjiang Meng’e is a run-of-river project. The net head of the project is 46.5m. The project generated 701 GWh of electricity. The project cost is $43.78m.

The project construction commenced in 2004 and subsequently entered into commercial operation in 2007.

Power Purchase Agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Central China Grid under a power purchase agreement.

Contractors Involved

Fujian Nanping Nandian Equipment Manufacture was selected as the turbine supplier for the hydro power project. The company provided 3 turbines, each with 33MW nameplate capacity.

Fujian Nanping Nandian Equipment Manufacture supplied 3 electric generators for the project.
