The project is being developed by E-Wood Energiecentrale. Indaver and Suez are currently owning the project.

The project cost is expected to be around $112.235m.

Doel E-Wood Waste to Energy Project is a co-firing project. Municipal solid waste and wood by-product will be used as a feedstock to power the project.

Standardkessel Baumgarte Holding is expected to render EPC services for the biopower project.

Franco Tosi Meccanica will be the steam turbine supplier for the project. The company is expected to provide 1 turbine with 20MWe nameplate capacity.
