Doulingzi, China

Doulingzi is a 70.5MW hydro power project. It is located on Jinqian river/basin in Hubei, China. The project is currently active. It has been developed in single phase. The project construction commenced in 1993 and subsequently entered into commercial operation in 2002.

The project was developed by Shiyan Hydropower Development and is currently owned by Guodian Daduhe New Energy Investment with a stake of 63.04%.

Doulingzi is a run-of-river project. The hydro reservoir capacity is 484 million cubic meter. The project generated 212 GWh of electricity.

The hydro power project consists of 3 turbines, each with 23.5MW nameplate capacity.

Development Status

The project construction commenced in 1993 and subsequently entered into commercial operation in 2002.

Power Purchase Agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to State Power Grid Corporation of China under a power purchase agreement.
