Description

The project is being developed by SSE Renewables (Ireland). The project is co-owned by Coillte Cuideachta Ghniomhaiochta Ainmnithe and SSE Renewables (Ireland), with their respective ownership stake of 50% each.

The project is expected to supply enough clean energy to power 40,000 households, to offset 48,500t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is expected to be around $64.89m.

The wind power project consists of 12 turbines.

Development Status

The project construction is expected to commence from 2023. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by October 2024.
