Description

The project was developed by Engie Renewables, Orion Renewable Energy Group and RDC Scotland. Falck Renewables Wind and Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners KS are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 51% and 49% respectively.

The project supplies enough clean energy to power 25,000 households, offsetting 36,460t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $80.063m.

Development Status

The project is currently active. The project got commissioned in December 2007.

Power Purchase Agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Gaz de France under a power purchase agreement with a contracted capacity is 35MW.

Contractors Involved

Nordex was selected to render EPC services for the wind power project.

Nordex was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company provided 15 units of N80 (2.5 MW) turbines, each with 2.5MW nameplate capacity.

Nordex is the O&M contractor for the wind power project. The operation and maintenance contract commenced from 2007, for a period of 17 years.
