Eglin Air Force Base Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 240 acres.

The project generates 60,000MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 4,500 households. The project cost is $82.443m.

Development Status

The project got commissioned in August 2017.

Power Purchase Agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Gulf Power under a power purchase agreement for a period of 25 years from 2017. The contracted capacity is 30MW.

Contractors Involved

Swinerton Renewable Energy was selected to render EPC services for the solar PV power project.

First Solar was selected as the supplier of the PV modules for the project. The company installed 375,000 modules at the site.

SMA Solar Technology supplied 14 inverters to the project site.

The project is utilising trackers supplied by SunLink.

Coronal Development Services and Swinerton Renewable Energy were contracted to render operations & maintenance services for the project.
