Description
The project was developed by NoordzeeWind and is currently owned by Shell WindEnergy with a stake of 100%.
The wind turbines in the project are installed on fixed foundations. An array of monopile foundations feature in the project.
The project generates 400,000MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 100,000 households, offsetting 140,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $456.84m.
The turbines installed on the project are using Tubular Steel towers.

Power Purchase Agreement
Shell Energy Europe and Vattenfall are the power offtakers from the project.
Contractors Involved
VOF Bouwcombinatie Egmond was selected to render EPC services for the wind power project.
Vestas Wind Systems was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company provided 36 units of V90-3.0 MW turbines, each with 3MW nameplate capacity.
Vestas Wind Systems is the O&M contractor for the wind power project.
