Description

The project was developed by Midwest Wind Energy. Clearway Energy and Tenaska are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 67% and 33% respectively.

The project supplies enough clean energy to power 25,000 households. The project cost is $140m.

The project is currently active. The project got commissioned in 2009.

Power Purchase Agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Nebraska Public Power District under a power purchase agreement for a period of 20 years. The contracted capacity is 80MW.

Contractors Involved

Carstensen Contracting was selected to render EPC services for the wind power project.

Vestas Wind Systems was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company provided 27 units of V90-3.0 MW turbines, each with 3MW nameplate capacity.
