The project was developed by Initec Energia and is currently owned by Eneva with a stake of 100%.

It is a Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) power plant. The fuel is procured from Parnaiba Basin Wells.

The project cost is $731.606m.

Initec Energia was selected to render EPC services for the gas fired power project.

GE Power was selected as the turbine supplier for the Gas fired project. The company provided 1 steam turbine with 181MW nameplate capacity.

GE Power was selected as the turbine supplier for the Gas fired project. The company provided 2 units of GT52 gas turbines, each with 168.8MW nameplate capacity.
